Here at St. Patrick’s we aim to provide children and staff with a variety of healthy nutritious meals that taste as good as they look and form an essential part of a healthy balanced diet. In partnership with Caterlink we offer a variety of fresh seasonal food prepared on site based on modern ethnically diverse dishes that provide a contemporary twist on conventional school meals.

We believe in choice whatever the time of day and this term’s menu can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. All the options provide excellent value for money. Menus change seasonally with each new term and favourites feature alongside new, innovative dishes. Themed menus celebrate different cultures and offer students an opportunity to sample foods from other countries/cultures. Each month we feature theme days for the children to enjoy.

The current price is £2.65 per day/ £13.25 per full week. This is payable via your Parentpay account -alternatively, cash may be paid at any PayPoint outlet but a barcode must be obtained from the school office to be able to do this.

Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch. All lunches must follow the guidelines outlined in our school healthy eating policy as we believe that a healthy lunch helps your child maintain a healthy weight, concentrate better, behave better and therefore learn better. Pupils may change to or from school dinners when they want, all we ask is that you visit the school office to inform them of the change so we can make the necessary amendments.

Milk costs £19.00 a term (free for children under 5yrs). The money is collected termly. Parents are asked to order milk for their children by the dates allocated for orders by the Principal. If pupils wish to receive milk part way through a term, this can be accommodated and will be charged pro-rata. No refunds are given for any reason. Again, milk money is paid for via Parentpay.

As you know, all children in EYFS and KS1 are offered a free school meal daily during term time as part of the universal infant free school scheme. All KS2 children entitled to free school meals will also be given a free daily term time meal. If your circumstances have recently changed and you believe that your child may now be entitled to free meals please contact the school office staff who will be pleased to help you. You can also find out how to apply for free school meals by visiting the Wolverhampton City Council website.
